What are DTF transfers?
DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers are a type of heat transfer that uses a specialized film printed with a design using a DTF printer. The design is then transferred onto a substrate using a heat press, similar to other types of heat transfers like HTV (heat transfer vinyl) or sublimation transfers.

To create a DTF transfer, a design is printed onto a special DTF film using a DTF printer and DTF ink. The printed film is then cut to the desired shape and size using a vinyl cutter or scissors. The transfer is then placed onto the substrate, such as a garment or bag, and pressed using a heat press.

The heat press is set to a specific temperature and pressure, which activates the adhesive on the film and transfers the design onto the substrate. The transfer is then peeled away from the substrate, leaving the design behind.
