Transfer Paper 101

What is transfer paper?

• Transfer paper is an economical way to provide full color designs for garment decorators using a desktop inkjet or laser printer.

Why use transfer paper?

• With transfer papers, gradients, multiple colors, drop shadows, and photos are able to be used in the designs and will show up well. The Dark Garment transfer papers are specifically able to be cut like regular vinyl, which can come in handy when pressing the design.

What different kinds of transfer paper are there?

• There are a variety of different transfer papers designed for different circumstances. It all depends on how dark or light your garment is and whether you have an inkjet or laser printer.
