Monograms Made Easy

Monograms are all the rage right now – just ask Pinterest. You can create a beautiful monogram with limited design experience or by locating a free monogram generator online. Once you have your monogram, you’re able to put it on almost anything – we’re talking towels, t-shirts, mugs and more. There are many different ways to do this, but we’re going to show you a super quick, easy way to get a beautiful, fun-looking monogram using heat transfer vinyl.

Step One: Get Your Vector Artwork Ready

• Like we said, create it on your own or use a free online generator. Choose your vinyl (for this tutorial, we’re using glitter heat transfer vinyl).

Step Two: Place Your Vinyl in the Cutter With the Glitter Side Down

• Send your artwork to the cutter and cut mirrored.

Step Three: Weed Away the Excess Material

Step Four: Apply Your Glitter Using Medium to Firm Pressure

• Press onto your garment at 330-335 degrees (F) for approximately 15 seconds

Step Five: Let Cool and Peel Either Warm or Cold
