I don't ever write reviews, but I use them when I look at a new product, and figured some others might like this insight. I normally use Siser Easyweed, and occasionally Thermoflex Plus, but decided to try the WalaKut during the recent Labor Day sale. I would say it looks and feels a lot like the Siser Easyweed Stretch, it is thinner and feels a little more rubbery.
My issues with it:
Backing is not very sticky (if you ever used the "foils" the backing is like that), so I need to tape the graphic on with heat tape to transfer from my table to heat press.
Product is thin, which is normally not a problem, but I layer Orange over Black for one of my designs, and you can see the black outline after it is pressed. So layering lighter colors over dark does not work well for this.
I really like this vinyl. Normally I use Siser, but I like the texture of this vinyl on the shirt, it’s easy to cut and weed, and after several washes the vinyl still looks like new. I think I found a new favorite brand.
One of the easiest to weed and to place on a t-shirt Vinyl I have ever used.
