What is Siser EasyWeed?
Siser EasyWeed is a very popular line of high-quality heat transfer vinyl products, and are a great fit for anyone between the crafter and the professional. 

EasyWeed vinyl’s typically feature low application temps and a hot or cold peel coupled with pressure sensitive liner, making this material great for all your design needs. You can use this material with peace of mind when decorating children's garments as it is CPSIA Certified. What types of Siser EasyWeed are there?
Siser has many types of HTV available which can be daunting to a new crafter.  Here is an overview of their different types of Siser Easyweed vinyl.   

Standard Siser Easyweed

Regular Siser Easyweed is the most popular htv on the market and a regular htv product in terms of finish.  It’s very versatile and easy to weed as the name implies.  This HTV has the most color options, usually with 47+ colors available.  If you’re looking for a quality HTV without a regular finish, you’re sure to find something in the standard Siser Easyweed that will fit your next project.

Siser Glitter

Siser had a number of glitter htv products.  The regular Siser Glitter HTV is the industry standard in glitter, making it a popular choice and similarly has a high amount of color options.  There is also the new Siser Twinkle which is a smoother finish, and Neon Glitter HTV that features brighter glitter color options. 

Siser Holographic & Metallic Vinyl

While different then glitter, metallics and holographic vinyl's offer a shinier finish without the glitter.  Siser's Easyweed Electric features a pearlescent metallic sheen with vibrant colors and is a popular choice.  Siser Holographic and Siser Metal also have a shinier finish if you’re looking for something interesting for your next project.

What Sizes and Lengths do you carry?

Most Siser EasyWeed products are available in widths of 12” (11.8”), 15” and 20”. We stock both 12” sheets of htv and rolls of 1 yard, 5 yard, 10 yard, 25 yard and 50 yard lengths.  Save on bulk rolls of vinyl for your most often used htv and try new colors in smaller lengths and sheets!

What Temp Do You Press Siser Easyeed?

The recommended temperature to heat press your Siser HTV can depend on the specific material and vinyl you’re using.  The original class Siser Easyweed recommended temp is to 305° F, however other Siser EasyWeed products like Stretch, Glitter, and Metal can vary from 305° F - 320° F depending on the material.

Is Siser Easyweed Hot or Cold Peel?

The Classic Siser Easyweed can be a hot or Cold Peeled, but other Siser Easyweed HTV’s like Easyweed Fluorescent, Glitter, and others have specific recommendations.  Take a look at the specific product page, our Heat Transfer Vinyl Temperature & Time Chart to find recommended temp to peel. 

What Colors does Siser HTV come in?  How can I see all the color options?

If you want to see all the siser color options without buying them, we carry an official Siser color sample ….  That you can purchase here.  This is the best way to get an accurate idea of the true color, as photos and digital charts can vary and be misleading.

What Garments does this work with?

Each Material has certain fabrics that it works and adheres well to, so we recommend referencing the specific product page which will have details.  If you’re looking for a vinyl that’s compatible with a certain garment type, take a look at our HTV temp, time and compatibility chart.

Siser Easyweed typically works with Polyester, cotton, and poly/cotton blends.  

For stretchier garments, EasyWeed Stretch is a good fit for 100% uncoated polyester, poly/cotton blends, cotton, lycra, wool and linen.  

Glitter is a bit more versatile and also works with spandex, lycra, wool, linen.  Take a look at the specific product for more details on tshirt and fabric type recommendations. 

How Long Should EasyWeed be Pressed?

Similar to temp, the press time can vary by specific material, and recommend referencing our Heat Transfer Vinyl Temperature & Time Chart.  Standard Easyweed can be pressed 10-15 seconds, with Glitter coming in at 15 seconds and Holographic at 20.

Siser Easyweed VS Siser Easyweed Stretch?

Siser Easyweed is Siser’s standard, all-rounder HTV that works well on most shirts, but does not have much stretch.

Easyweed Stretch is a specific product that’s made to stretch with the fabric and is a better fit with stretchy garments including some polyester and cotton/poly blends.  

Will this work with my Vinyl Cutter? (Cricut, Silhouette etc.)

Yes, these materials universally work on common traditional blade vinyl cutters like the Cricut Explore, Cricut Maker, Silhouette Cameo 3 Cameo 4, Cameo Plus, and the Graphtec CE-7000, and is also compatible well as laser cutters. At only 90 micrometers thick, this work well with most cutters you’re likely to encounter.  

How Fast do Orders Ship?

We have four warehouses across the US in Fargo, ND, and Cincinnati, OH to ensure short delivery times, and most orders ship the same day, and most Siser vinyl is stocked at all of our warehouses.

This material can be cut with both a traditional blade cutter such as Cricut Explore, Cricut Maker, Silhouette Cameo 3 Cameo 4, Cameo Plus, and the Graphtec CE-7000 and is also compatible with laser cutters. At only 90 microns, and coming in a variety of finishes from metallic to semi-gloss, you're sure to find something to fit your next project.  About Siser EasyWeed Heat Transfer Vinyl

1. Adhesive Side: Easyweed HTV has a clear, carrier sheet with an adhesive side that is activated by heat. The adhesive side is typically matte in finish.
2. Cutting: Easyweed HTV can be easily cut with a vinyl cutter or a craft cutting machine, such as a Cricut or Silhouette. You will need to reverse or mirror your design before cutting, as you will be placing the vinyl adhesive side down on the fabric.
3. Application: Once your design is cut, you can remove the excess vinyl (known as "weeding") using a weeding tool or tweezers. After weeding, you can use a heat press or a household iron to transfer the design onto your fabric. Follow the specific instructions provided by Siser for temperature, pressure, and duration of heat application.
4. Fabrics: Easyweed HTV is suitable for use on a variety of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, poly-cotton blends, and more. It is important to ensure that the fabric is clean and pre-washed without fabric softeners before applying the vinyl.
5. Durability: Siser Easyweed HTV is known for its durability and ability to withstand repeated washing and wearing. It is designed to be long-lasting and resistant to cracking, peeling, or fading when properly applied and cared for.
