Glow-in-the-dark and Reflective Heat Transfer Vinyl

Halloween is creeping up on us! The evenings are darker earlier, and if you have children, I’m sure they’ll be going trick-or-treating. In this blog, we will be discussing Siser Glow in the Dark EasyWeed, Siser Easy Reflective and 3M® Reflective . These are all perfect materials to make sure you are noticed in the dark nights, and to ensure that you and your loved ones stay safe this Halloween season.

Siser Glow in the Dark EasyWeed

This heat transfer vinyl is ideal for decorating costumes and holiday t-shirts. It’s perfect for use on children Halloween costumes! Glow in the Dark EasyWeed has the same benefits of normal EasyWeed. It appears as a white material in the daytime, almost looking identical to white EasyWeed. However, when exposed to darkness, it will provide a luminous, glowing green look! Also note that it will glow more effectively the longer it has been exposed to light.

Another similar alternative is Glow In Dark PoliFlex 4790. This creates the same look and applies to the same materials; however, it does not have a sticky carrier and is recommended to use with larger than 1" lettering.

Siser Easy Reflective

This heat transfer vinyl is ideal for nighttime visibility and brilliance . It’s perfect for use when trick-or-treating, running and cycling at night, or even for walking the dog at night! It’s also beneficial to create increased visibility on sports garments, pet clothes, or construction crew uniforms.

It features very small glass beads embedded in material to help produce optimal white reflectability when exposed to bright light. When exposed to light, it will produce a white reflective look.

During the daylight, you can expect it to produce a silver look with a semi-smooth glitter finish due to the embedded glass beads. This is also Siser’s only reflective material with a pressure sensitive backing! It includes a pressure sensitive carrier that allows you to re-stick lifting material or replace a piece that’s accidentally removed.

3M® Reflective

This heat transfer vinyl is ideal for high nighttime visibility, but also is great for daytime visibility. It’s perfect for use when trick-or-treating, running and cycling, or even for walking the dog! It’s especially popular to be used for EMT, Police, Security and Fire rescue garments.

Similar to Easy Reflective, this product is embedded with glass beads to produce maximum reflectability when exposed to bright light. When exposed to light, it will produce a bright white reflective look.

Again, similar to Easy Reflective, during the daylight, you can expect it to produce a silver look with a semi-smooth glitter finish due to the embedded glass beads.
